Global Agrifood Techpreneur Programme is aimed at supporting new graduates key into solving food sustainability challenges in their country which will lead to the improvement of food production and distribution, eradicate hunger, put an end to malnutrition and Obesity and as well prevent wastage of food. The program is focused on empowering sustainable local food production and distribution.

Benefits of the Agrifood Techpreneur Programme 2023
Every year, new graduates are asked to fill and submit their application about a food system challenge in their home country and the possible solution to tackle it. The submitted competent proposals for the Global Agrifood Techpreneur programme will be promoted in March as they celebrate World Engineering Day for sustainable Development.
Qualified candidates will be registered to complete a 6 weeks Entrepreneurship course, Tech and sustainability in the food system course which will begin in April and it is supported by RBS via Business Builder. InterlliDigest is also working to ensure that the courses studies are impactful and informative together with world class business schools.
After the 6 months training on Entrepreneurship, Tech and Sustainability in Food System, the AgriFood TechPreneurs will be able to adjust their proposal based on the knowledge they’ve acquired so far. The proposals will now be shared for evaluation and recommendation for support by the expert panel.
The quality of your proposal matters a lot as this will guarantee the support you will get from Global Agrifood TechPreneur at the 6 weeks Entrepreneurship training course, Tech and Sustainability in the Food System and other supports they will enjoy by partners of the programme. The World Gastronomy Day will be celebrated on June and the Supports will be announced on the same day.
Agrifood Techpreneur will be supported to apply for money through partnership with financial institutions to begin solution my improving their business plan based on the knowledge they’ve acquired from the 6 weeks Entrepreneurship, Tech and Sustainability in the Food System Course.

Agrifood Techprenuers will be given the opportunity to access the World Food tracker for free for the duration of one year to enable them setup their farm and sell their Agrifood produce. Techprenuers will be supported by providing them with chicks, fingerlings, piglets, seeds, etc. and other farm machineries.

Application deadline is 20th of February, 2023 for the Global Agrifood Techpreneur Programme and the training will last for 12 weeks beginning from April.
